I’m Jac Summers. I am a recent graduate of Azusa Pacific University and have chosen to spend my summer with the most amazing group of men and women as we journey from the Pacific to the Atlantic via bicycle. Our hope is to raise awareness and money for the global water crisis, and we are so excited to be partnering with charity:water (charitywater.org) in order to do this. At rideforwater.com you can find the team blog, for which I will periodically write. But my hope with this blog is to document the personal lessons learned and the moments experienced along the way. While I recognize this ride is for a cause way greater than myself, I know that 50 days on a bike can change a person, and I am so excited, and nervous, to see what these 50 days will bring.
